Imagery for Healing and Prevention of Cancer

The diagnosis of cancer can be devastating. The challenge it presents calls for a new way of thinking that logic alone often fails to provide. This six-week workshop is a new (for our times) paradigm of curing the whole person as a physical, emotional, and spiritual being.

Paracelsus, the Renaissance physician and founder of modern chemistry spoke about man as having a "visible and an invisible workshop. The visible one is his body, the invisible is imagination."

Imagination is a vital mental process that has been used for millennia for restoring physical and emotional health. It has been utilized by doctors and healers of various cultures as a diagnostic tool, as a method of uncovering the underlying genesis of illness, and as a way of guiding patients to wholeness.

During this course you will learn basic principles upon which the work of imagination is based. A series of structured experiential exercises designed to treat emotional challenges of the illness and enhance the cure of the physical symptoms will follow. You will also learn techniques for creating your own imagery exercises for healing and health maintenance.
