Staying Healthy in a Stressful World
Stress has been called "the silent killer." Yet, it is so much a part
of our lives that we rarely notice its presence. Eighty five percent of
visits to physicians are stress related. It is a significant component
in high blood pressure, heart disease, ulcers, diabetes, fatigue,
headaches (particularly migraines), depression, and a host of other
ailments.
During this course you will learn the three major sources of stress and
the techniques for transforming them into positive, life-enriching
experiences. You will
also learn physical and mental tools that strengthen resistance to
illness, increase vitality and create inner balance in our stressful,
high-paced and uncertain world.
