Quit Now Program for Smokers
Over the past 30 years, Dr. Reznik has helped thousands of people to stop smoking.
His Quit Now program for smokers is designed to achieve results in a one two-hour session. The program utilizes techniques of clinical hypnosis, mental imagery, and behavior modification. You are helped to take control of and kick the habit without substituting other negative habits (e.g. overeating, coffee drinking, etc.) At the conclusion of the program, Dr. Reznik provides you with a reinforcement CD.
Up to 95% of the population can be hypnotized to some degree. Dr Reznik tests clients in advance to determine their ability to respond. In the rare event a person is not hypnotizable, they can withdraw from the program.
In a paper presented to the International Conference on Smoking Cessation, Dr. Jerome Schwartz, Health Care Research Specialist for the California Department of Health, demonstrated the results of 160 Smoking Cessation programs conducted over the past 20 years. The methods compared were: hypnosis, self-control, individual counseling, behavior modification and medications. The study concluded the following: "From the published results, it appears that the highest success rate was accomplished by hypnosis."
